$1000 to win IMCA Late Models & Modifieds July 12 at Davenport
DAVENPORT, IA (July 3)- Friday night July 12th is shaping up to be a big night for Davenport Speedway weekly racing as K Promotions has announced the Petersen Plumbing & Heating IMCA Late Models and the Eriksen Chevrolet IMCA Modifieds will both run for a $1000 top prize. With no other IMCA track running Late Models that night, Davenport looks to have a strong field of competitors on hand.
Schultz Trucking and Randy’s Auto Plaza of Dubuque are sponsors of the additional money for the Modified division looking to draw in a few new cars as well.
Also racing will be the Koehler Electric Street Stocks, IMCA Northern SportMods, and the 4-Cylinders divisions. All classes will run a draw/redraw format for all applicable points.
Pits open at 4pm, Grandstands open at 5pm with hot laps at 6:30 and racing to follow. Adult Grandstand admission is $12, kids ages 6-11 are $5, kids 5 & under are free. Pit passes will be $30.
Davenport Speedway is located at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds at 2815 West Locust St in Davenport, IA.
